In Loving Memory
Jolianne "JoJo" Charlene Clayton
9/30/2009 - 1/3/2010

Funeral services for Jolianne “JoJo” Charlene Clayton, of Wills Point, three months, are scheduled for 3:00pm, Wednesday, January, 6, 2010, at Hiett’s LyBrand Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery.

Jolianne Charlene Clayton, the precious daughter of Jeremy and Crystal Johnston Clayton, was born September 29, 2009, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, and was transferred September 30, 2009, to Childrens Medical Center, where she remained until her death, January 3, 2010, due to heart complications.

"A butterfly lands beside us like a whisper. And for a brief moment, its glory and beauty belongs to our world…and then it flies on again. And although we wish it could have stayed, we feel lucky to have seen it."

Along with her parents, JoJo is also survived by brothers, Andrew Parker Collins and Ronnie Daniel Clayton, both of Wills Point; grandparents, Dan and Debbie Zajac of Grand Saline and Ronnie and Sylvia Clayton of Arlington; great-grandparents, Cosme and Inez Solis of Houston, Richard and Joy Dalby of Arlington, and Jim and Rose Anthony of Tyler; and many other relatives.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6:00-8:00pm, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Childrens Medical Center, 1935 Medical District Dr., Dallas, Texas, 75235.

Dear Jeremy and Crystal, There are no words to convey how much it hurts to see the two of you and the boys go through this pain. If we live to be one hundred we will not have made as much of an impact on so many lives as sweet JoJo made did in three short months. Through the writings that each of you made for her and to her and the pictures you shared with the world we all were able to connect with her on a daily basis. Thank you for sharing her with us in such a personal way. Those of us who had the privilege of seeing her in person or holding her in our arms knew she was something special! When you looked into her big blue eyes it was like you could see right into her soul. You can even see it in her picture with her sweet little smile. Her spirit was like a gift that she would give to her Mommy and Daddy. Tomorrow when we commit our angel to her Heavenly Father we will remove our purple prayer bracelets that we wore for the day when she would come home. Even though our hearts are broken and there will not be a single day that we don't think of our precious granddaughter we know that on January 3, 2010 our baby JoJo did go to a home where we will all gather in the twinkling of an eye. And without a shadow of a doubt, we believe Jolianne will be the dancing angel ballerina with the sweet smile and the bright blue eyes who will greet us there. With an overflowing love, Mom and Dad "JoJo we love you forever and for always" Nana and Papa

My friend, my heart is so broken for you and your family. There are not any words that help, and the days ahead will not be easy. Please know I'm praying for you and your family, and that somehow thru all this pain, you will find comfort and peace thru Jesus Christ. I am so distressed and upset that I can not be there with you today. It is killing me. I'm sorry I have not called, but I figured you didn't need one more person calling you and crying in the phone..and that's all I've been able to do.. You are such a precious friend. If you ever need me please call or email me. (254)405-2487 Shannon_Brewer@Baylor.edu I love you, your sweet JoJo was to good for this old world, I look forward to seeing her some day.. I love you..Shannon
